Hi ladies, Susan here! I was a bit optimistic because I've never had spaghetti and clam sauce other than at Pesce Pasta which is the best by the way located on Bleecker street. I was so surprised to have the spaghetti and clam sauce here but boy was it amazing! The clams were super fresh and tasty. My husband had the salad and it was phenomenal and very healthy! I totally recommend to fellow New Yorkers or anyone on a scout for lunch in the city. So long ladies its time for happy hour - Susan

Sunday lunch was great, host was very welcoming and bartender was very friendly. I wasn't hungry but only wanted some snack, so I had Six littleneck Clams, Faroe Island Salmon Tartare and a glass of house white wine. I enjoyed vibe and restaurant ambiance. I enjoyed so much, food was good and I definitely will recommend to my friends.

I pass by this location all the time so decided to give them a try. The food was pretty good. We had the oysters - east v west. The oysters were good but wish they had Kumamoto. We thought that the skirt steak was a tad over cooked. We ordered a side of French fries which we thought were overpriced on top of being soggy - they tasted like they were just tossed with old bay (fries were $9). I had the scallops which were good but nothing special. We tried all 3 sparkling wines and all were good. Usually I prefer Brut but wasn't a fan of theirs, we agreed the prosecco was the best of the 3. We chose to eat outdoors with the weather being nice which was also a good idea because indoors seemed very cramped. Inside they only have 2 bathrooms but they're well maintained. They lacked attentiveness when it came to things such as water, checking on the food, and the check but overall I would come back.

A few of my family members and I decided on the clam since it was close to my job. We are all big seafood fans so we were excited for this spot. Overall, I think the food was pretty good. The oysters were one of the best things on the menu in my opinion. I take one star away because the service is incredibly slow and inattentive. For dessert, I ordered an espresso martini that never arrived, which I was disappointed about, but we were sitting for 2 hours already so I did not want to order another one.

For a place that claims clam centricity, The Clam is a surprisingly versatile restaurant, from ample airy brunch seating to truly epic fish entrees.

Cute restaurant, lots of seating, terrific menu, and great service. The menu is all fish and seafood and everything we tasted was delicious. We ordered codfish, pasta with clams, salmon, lobster sliders, oysters, Parker house rolls , and clam dip, and all we enjoyed. The reasons for the four stars and not the five, service was actually too quickly paced and menu is a little pricy. And I sometimes think it's just my family that maybe eats too quickly, but there were two other tables around us who started and ended with us. If I'm dining out I prefer service to be a little slower so I feel as if it's an experience and not something to get through.
